Apparently I am not obese

....well, actually according to the Japanese scales I've even lost 2 kg!...Which is a little impossible after 4 days...So I am reckoning their scales are rubbish. It was an interesting experience though! Just to bring you up to speed, we all had to have a medical check today, to make sure we were in good health before being released in to the wild. So I had my first x-ray today (I found out bra is "brasu"), a sight test, and a bit of an interview on my "diseases". We took the blood pressure ourselves! They have this fancy machinery in the waiting room where you stick your arm in and press the start button. After that we went off to find some drinks and ended up in some western bar..which kind of defeats the point of coming to Japan. The only other people in there was an overly loud American and his possibly embarrassed (nation not identifiable) friend. Gawwwd Japanese people must hate us, because we are so loud!

After that it was off to a more authentic Izakaya (see blog entry about the restaurant we went to), where we had these amazing squid fried balls. They basically tasted like mashed potatoe with squid in the middle. OISHI!!!! Our waiter for the first half was ace! he really tried to speak English and I think we all loved him for it.

Oh and we had dominoes pizza today (as sponsored by our trainer), it was amazing pizza..better than ANY pizza I have ever had in England! They put all sorts of strange toppings on here too! Potatoes on pizza??? seafood with a sort of hollandaise like cheese topping? It was goooood (Even though it was dominoes....).
Other than that it has been a relatively tiring and long day and it is now 01.46am...I should really go to bed!
